What you need to qualify to enroll:

  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • A GED or High School Diploma
    Applicants with a foreign diploma will be required to submit their credentials translated/evaluated for equivalency.

  • $100 Registration fee

The curriculum is listed in the school’s catalog. With each publication of the catalog, education courses offered are updated and the teaching personnel roster is made current. The School must adhere to Department of Education criteria.  The State Education Department separately licenses all teaching personnel and approves courses and curricula. Please check in with the school director to determine possible changes in classes or personnel since the catalog’s last publication.

The Westchester School for Dental Assistants believes that quality career education can lead to a successful and rewarding future. Founded in 2004, WSDA is licensed by NYSED BPSS.  The dental assistant program is nationally accredited by ACCET (Accredited Council for Continuing Education and Training).

WSDA is located at 1053 Saw Mill River RD, Suite 204 ,Ardsley, NY 10502.  Patient care and dental / medical office operations frame our education program.  Classes and labs are equipped with a full range of industry-standard equipment. This helps our students to familiarize themselves with the clinical experience likely to be experienced in a job setting.  WSDA is an accredited training facility that offers medical assistant training program, dental assistant training program, phlebotomy, and EKG, in an air-conditioned, spacious and modern facility.

Financial Aid is available to those that qualify.

Our Financial Aid Advisers work with each prospective student personally to determine their financial aid eligibility. Financial aid questions are answered clearly and financial aid options are explained thoroughly so prospective students can move forward confidently and without delay.

Financial Aid Packages may include Pell Grants, Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans or Parent Loans. The School also offers tuition payment plans as well as private and state grants.

To determine financial aid eligibility a prospective student must be able to provide the Financial Aid Adviser with the following:

  1. Proof of citizenship or US permanent Resident Status
  2. Proof of income form the previous Tax Filing Year. This may be a Federal Tax Return, Social Security Award Letter, HRA Benefit Letter or other.
