The Westchester School for Medical and Dental Assistants offers a comprehensive Dental Radiology Program to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become proficient in dental radiography. The program provides students with the opportunity to gain the expertise they need to become successful in the field and to prepare them to take the certification exam. The program offers comprehensive classroom and clinical instruction, as well as hands-on training.
This program will give students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of dental radiology, including radiographic anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging techniques. Additionally, students will gain the skills necessary to use and interpret radiographs, which are essential for the proper diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to operate oral radiology dental equipment in their work as dental assistants in a variety of clinical settings and will be prepared to take the certification exam and practice dental radiology in NY.

Becoming a Qualified Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT)
