If you’re looking to kickstart your career in healthcare, this program is designed just for you. Our comprehensive course will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to prepare for the New York State certification exam as a nurse assistant. 

Course Details: 

Nursing Assistant Course Curriculum 

In this course, we cover a wide range of important topics, including the role of the Nursing Assistant, patients’ rights, ethics, and effective communication with both patients and the healthcare team. You’ll also dive into medical terminology and understand the human body in health and disease. Other key areas of study include safety practices, infection control, personal care, nutrition, and basic skills like transferring patients and monitoring vital signs. Plus, you’ll gain hands-on experience with 30 hours of clinical training, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in a real-world setting.
